One review for Loeffler's Gourmet

This place makes the best hot dogs and summer sausage for grilling, and they're local. The website appears to be down, but I called today (8/8/11) to make sure nothing had happened, and they said they are open from 7am until 3:30pm, M-F.

Their production facility and storefront are one in the same, in an old industrial area on the Trenton/Hamilton border, so it's not going to look like you're going to a food store. There is a sign on the street. Storefront is literally a counter outside the sausage making plant.

Last summer I bought a big package of dogs and white summer sausage about 5 lbs., for a neighborhood cookout. People freaked over them, and It was amazingly cheap.

I think I remember that they offer skin-on and skinless franks, but can't swear to it. If you're planning a cookout that includes hot dogs, or are just stocking up for the grilling season, this needs to be a destination.
